"We stayed in a private family room with ensuite. Look, the hostel itself is great! Had a lovely girl check us in which set a welcoming tone. We had low expectations of the actual room and it matched our expectations. Utilitarian rooms that serve a purpose, sleep and shower. The bathroom was a bit yuck but ok. We all slept pretty good. "Firstly, the pictures advertised on the rooms are completely misleading. Everything is broken and dirty and smells when you walk in. Secondly, the website mentions a ‘comfortable and affordable stay’ but it’s not comfortable whatsoever when there are bugs crawling around me and biting me when I’m trying to sleep. The staff rarely clean the rooms, when requested to vacuum the rooms, they delay it and say ‘tomorrow’. When tomorrow comes, nobody vacuums the room. I have videos of the bugs all...
