"Checked in early, room wasn’t ready, which was fine. Left our luggage there and went out to eat. Was supposed to get a text when the room iwas ready, we never received a text. Came back to the hotel after dinner to pick up the room key, and our luggage. Went up to the room to relax and another patron entered our room because the hotel accidentally gave them an extra set of keys to our room. They double booked the room and never completely entered us into their computer system. Major security violation.
The manager took my concerns very seriously and did credit us a night at the hotel. That did not spoil what I considered a great location and a very nice hotel. However, some training is needed with the staff that was there.
One disappointment would be a non-functioning lobby with coffee or snacks for the patrons. Besides that it’s a lovely hotel and my wife and I will stay there again."
