"The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. "A cozy cabin in the woods, only a brief walk away from the lake, and a comfortable fit for our family of 5. Very well stocked kitchen - we were able to cook all our meals easily. We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch and the swimming area and kayaks that were available for guest use. Ice cream/trading post for food/supplies and a boat rental all just up the road if you want to take advantage of the lake.
