"The Good:
Overall, good experience primarily due to the hotel's fantastic location. Being so close to Niagara Falls made sightseeing incredibly convenient. The staff was decent but weren't particularly courteous or welcoming, more transactional than hospitable.
The Disappointments:
However, there were a few details that fell short for the price point. First, be aware that there is no free breakfast included. Additionally, standard convenience items like shower caps were missing from the room.
Our main issue was with housecleaning. Upon check-in, we noticed the room had not been well vacuumed, and we actually found hair on the blankets. The bathroom floor was the biggest letdown—it was visibly dirty and also had plenty of hair left behind, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable.
The View & Fireworks:
We stayed on the 8th and 9th floors and had opted for a Fallsview room. While the view of the falls was nice during the day, we were really hoping to catch the fireworks from our window. Unfortunately, the angle from these floors didn’t really show the fireworks at all, which was a bit of a disappointment for the family.
Summary:
If you are staying here for the proximity to the falls and the amenities, it’s a solid choice. But if you are expecting immaculate cleanliness or a perfect vantage point for the nightly fireworks from the lower Fallsview floors, you might want to manage your expectations or ask for a higher floor."
