"This place looked amazing for villas. But if it comes down to ordering dinner for bbq. I would never do that again. It was so much meat but not other things to cook with. No oil or butter. Just raw vegetables and meet. We wasted our money for this. But over the hotel was soo pretty. If you really wanted to do glamming. You will enjoy the experience. "

"The room was very clean and super spacious which is hard to find in japan! I would definitely recommend booking a room with Mt Fuji view as waking up to the view each morning was priceless! They have a free shuttle to the station in the morning too which is convenient. It’s walkable to local recommended restaurants but is quite dark so for 600¥ Ubers are also an option! You can even hire bikes during the day from the hotel. I would recommend this place to others and stay again if I return to the...

"We had a very nice time on our stay at this small quiet hotel. We had the Shikibu room and appreciated the spaciousness. It had an outdoor garden view as well as a separate private small outdoor onsen. The onsen looks tiny on first impression but it was nice and we enjoyed the outside seating area too. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice, and definitely get the breakfast. Amazing breakfast! The staff were friendly and very helpful with transportation back to the train station....

"What a wonderful stay we had at Hotel Asafuji! The staff were so incredibly kind and welcoming to us. Our room had a breathtaking view of Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. We slept very well on the futons that were prepared on our tatami mats. When we left, the staff gave us several gifts to take home with us. Also, we really appreciated the shuttle to and from Kawaguchiko Station. Our only regret is that we only stayed for 1 night!"
