"It is a lovely setting & especially the restaurant. Quiet at night. Our private transfers to & from the airport were excellent. We found it impossible to get a lounger around the 3 pools for the 4 days we were there. Guests even put towels out the night before to reserve their spot. There is meant to be a rule you can leave a towel no longer than an hour. At night between 2-3 there was a dreadful smell of sewage obviously emptying a septic tank or something similar. Rooms were often cleaned between 4-5 and we were there for 5 nights & did not get clean beach towels & bath towels, only on the last night. Staff diving the buggies were very friendly but other staff were not. It is certainly a beautiful area but spoilt by the number of tourists mainly arriving daily on boats. "

"Right on the beach, staff was very friendly! Only downside was the beds were very hard, if you like a stiff bed this will be perfect! Good walking distance and has nightly fire shows!"

"An excellent hotel in a wonderful location. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the breakfast is rich and varied. The only point for improvement is the quality of the room cleaning- throughout our stay, the room was tidied, and the towels were replaced, but the shower, for example, was not cleaned."

"Everythibg was excellent. The hotel, grounds and room was beautiful and spotless. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. They gave us a nice room to shower and change in after we checkwd out with no extra charge. Food in the restaurant was amazing. If youre thinking of booking to stay here, dont hesitate. "

"The room was very basic but all in all it was ok. The bathroom, however, was another story. The shower head holder was broken and didn't hold the shower head up, the water didn't drain, so we were standing in inches of dirty water when showering. No shower curtain or any type of partition so there was water everywhere after showering. The bathroom alone made the whole experience quite gross. The balcony door didn't lock and the curtain holder was broken, which made it hard to open and close. There was a constant bad smell in the room, like blocked drain, which might explain the shower not draining properly. If we needed anything (water, toilet paper), we were told we had to wait until 3pm the next day. The staff were not as friendly and welcoming as we are used to in Thailand, we haven't had this disappointing level of service before so we understand it's not typical for Thailand. On the plus side, the breakfast was good, Palm, the tour guy, was really nice and helped us organise a boat trip and the outdoor aesthetic is very nice. We will not be returning to this hotel unfortunately. "
