Excellent location, very close to the beach and restaurants, the staff is extremely friendly, I was with my mother at this hotel, we were also able to take a van from the hotel to the airport without any problem.

Good location, big room

While the hotel may be a little past its prime, our stay there was quite comfortable. The room and bed were large and comfortable and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The location was a bit off a main road so nice and quiet at all times and and easy walk downhill to the beach. Plenty of restaurants, bars and convenient stores in easy walking distance. Our first time in Ao Nang and we are officially big fans and will return next time we are in Thailand.

The room was huge compared to most we have stayed in. The location is excellent. Very close to the beach , shopping, eating and entertainment. Front desk booked many trips for us, mailed postcards, etc. they were great.

I had an enjoyable 2-day stay at J Hotel. It is located right in centre of Ao Nang. Everywhere can be reached on foot. Shops, restaurants, bars and travel agents are only a few metres away. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is well-equipped for a short stay. Everywhere in the room and outside are kept very clean. Overall, I would recommend J Hotel for its location, hotel facilities and budget price.

I like this hotel very much - since I’ve stayed here a few times I get along well with the staff. Very friendly and helpful. But, through no fault of their own, a nearby disco joint plays loudly till late at night, so for light sleepers that could pose a problem. Be sure to request a quiet room. And for guests lugging heavy suitcases or baby carriage, I would suggest a room on the first floor due to the absence of an elevator.

I enjoyed my three night stay at J Hotel, and am glad to recommend it to others. The building and the rooms are quite dated and are showing signs of age. However, the staff are lovely and the facility is kept very clean. Also, the location is really fantastic. e.g. a three minute walk to the long tail boats to Railay. And of course there are dozens of perfectly nice places nearby for a meal. Or a drink….or two, or more. J Hotel is my new fav place to stay in Ao Nang.

The ladies at the desk were amazing . Very kind . Always left me two bottles of water outside my door everyday . Very clean and room was large and lovely . I think the only suggestion I would give is beach towels and blow dryers in the room .its the only hotel I have ever stayed in that doesn’t have a blow dryer . I had to go buy one and I was there for a week . But it was lovely so I am Still giving you five stars . Thank you for your hospitality .

The room had a lot of mold and tone of ants all over. The fridge was so rushted. No coffee/ tea or kettle. Room was hot the air conditioning was not working. I had booked for 4 nights but checked out after one night. You can not stay at this dump. I found a 100 times better hotel right next door called Lalisa hotel. It’s cheaper and amazing breakfast included. The staff / owners are really nice and helpful as well. DO NOT stay at J Hotel it’s disgusting and rude staff not helpful at all. Save your self and stay at Lalisa Hotel right next door. I never got my refund after cancellation. Never heard back from them. The front desk staff didn’t even ask why we checked out early. I have tried to contact the J Hotel still haven’t heard back. They made double the money on my booking. Our room was booked after we left. Bad bad disappointment with them. I have been traveling for 7 years now and this was the worst hotel I have ever been in. The only one. J Hotel should be shut down due to so much MOLD everywhere.
