"This was a nice hotel. Breakfast was great and paying extra for the balcony was well worth it. The location is walkable from Trogir - it’s flat but in the heat you need plenty of water. Parking is good and there are many bars and restaurants nearby however the hotel restaurant is also very good. Air con worked well Fridge was useful"

"The Hotel Sol location is on point. You are smack in the middle of the Zlatni Rat beach and then from the other side you are in the centre of the town. This hotel has the most helpful and friendly atmosphere you possibly image. The hotel isn’t a resort so therefore, we got to know the lovely staff especially the lovely cook. Highly recommend taking the breakfast option for 12 💶 a day you have a wonderful breakfast buffet. This place hold special memories for a wonderful vacation in Croatia....

"We booked this hotel at the last minute after a flight delay meant we missed our ferry connection. What a find! A beautiful hotel nestled away in the old town, this really is a stand-out. Our room was beautifully decorated & was super clean, spacious & very comfortable. We didn’t have time to stay for breakfast but I’m sure it would’ve been lovely. Friendly staff too. "This a nice hotel in a great location. I’m glad I got to stay here. My room was modem, large, and clean. I appreciated the helpful staff and how housekeeping brings you chocolate in the evening! The breakfast area was well presented with a large selection of foods. In the evening I wanted to eat in the restaurant because it was late. There was no one there eating or any staff around. So I asked reception and they checked and said they were still serving. So I went back and still no one to greet...

"Lovely room and clean. Breakfast is at Fifi's down the road which is lovely. The view was stunning and changed everyday with the different yachts. Bathroom was clean and good shower, bed is HUGGGE!!!! Aircon was good, and a handy little fridge. The bonus was the roof terrace on the fourth floor we were told about a few days in!"

"First off, this is a GREAT location, just a few steps away from Diocletian's Palace and the heart of the old city. We were on a tight budget for hotels on this vacation, but you would think that we were accustomed to five-star, swank hotels by the ambiance here. There are no cars allowed into the old city, but the hotel had a parking place in an enclosed garage about a ten-minute walk away. Someone from the hotel met us there and brought us to it. (I don't know if they have other parking places...

"Wonderful staff. There were elevators so you didn't have to carry luggage up to your floor like most hotels in the old towns. Dinner was lovely at sunset overlooking the water. Breakfast was included. Would definitely book again!"

"Hotel is in a good location and nice rooftop view. We placed a sign to have room maintained but when we returned later in the day the sign was placed back in its folder and never had room service done to it."

"Not worth the money. Hardly a 3 star hotel. The only good thing is the location. Modest room and modestly equipped shampoo doubles for hand soap and shower gel and no conditioner. After the room was made up, we were left we hand towel to be used for the shower. Coffee from the machine not drinkable. Breakfast average at best. Some of the staff were extremely friendly while others lacked flexibility."
