"This was a great stay, we came in late after a long flight and just wanted a place to crash for the night before heading south. It was quiet, clean and cool: we had AC and bed was comfy: a private shower/bathroom. My host was lovely and got up early to make us HUGE breakfast before we caught the train in Colombo. He arranged our (reasonably priced) taxi to the station and gave us free fresh bananas from his yard for the ride. 10/10 for the quick stay. Thanks again"

Accosted by taxi drivers AR the airport I knew I wanted a less expensive tuk tuk. One guy told me I have a tuk tuk let's go, well he lied it was a taxi. He told me he would give a food price. "The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
We weren’t able to get the airport shuttle, but just did an uber for about $6 USD.
The next day we took their Tuk Tuk back to airport, and that was really fun for under $2 USD.
It was absolutely worth it to get out of the airport for that night, and have a bed and a warm shower before our next flight. The bottle waters were greatly appreciated.
