"I was supposed to meet a family member here, but their flight was canceled and could no longer meet me here in Japan. I needed to cancel this reservation because of this disappointing turn of events. I messaged the hotel staff during the window of time necessary to cancel without late-cancellation fees, however the staff did not respond to me until after that window had passed, and would not budge on their policy of charging me for the entire stay. The only bad thing I could say about this hotel is the location; it's not that easy to get into central Fukuoka from this hotel if you are using public transport; you either have to take the train from Togo or Akama train stations, both of which are about a 30-40 minute walk away or over 1,000 yen taxi fare, or take the JR Express bus, which takes over an hour and costs 890 yen one way. The actual hotel itself is very nice, just be a little wary of the location.
