The recently restored bungalow was fully equipped, very comfortable and had lovely touches like a library of recent books on Penang history its buildings and gardens, flora and fauna. We stayed in a large room on the ground floor which was spotless. The views from the balcony of Georgetown and Butterworth were wonderful. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the Penang Hill funicular station, restaurants and cafes. The Eythrope was an excellent base for an extremely enjoyable relaxed stay on Penang Hill. "
