"I booked this hotel with some concerns at the first beginning since itโs located in Shanghai Stadium. I was not sure if itโs convenient to get in and out. But after I checked in with my daughter, we were so impressed by this hotel. All the staff members are very nice and polite. The breakfast buffet is so delicious with both western and Chinese styles. "This hotel is a SCAM! When I reserved this hotel through Hotels.com, I pre-paid the hotel fee. But, the employees at the desk asked me to pay ONCE AGAIN, telling me that the fee paid over Hotels.com would be refunded.
That didnโt happen. Eventually I paid TWICE. And the hotel refused to refund.
So, I was double-charged.
I think this is a classic way to lure foreigners to pay more.
The hotel even doesnโt answer the phone.
