"Our stay at Hotel The Celestine Kyoto Gion was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt refined, peaceful, and authentically Kyoto. Our room was immaculate, comfortable, and incredibly quiet, making it the perfect retreat after exploring Kyoto. What truly sets this hotel apart is the service. The staff were gracious, warm, and attentive in the most genuine way. Every interaction felt sincere, and they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The location is also outstanding. Being in Gion meant we could easily walk to temples, charming streets, and wonderful restaurants while still returning to a tranquil sanctuary at the end of the day. The traditional touches—like the serene garden areas and the beautiful onsen bath—made the experience feel uniquely Japanese and incredibly relaxing."

"Stayed here for the on suite laundry and dryer machine. HIGHLY recommend for people who are staying in Tokyo for long periods. The area is quiet and it was only a few min walk from the train station (very convenient for people who have big luggage's). The hotel is good for solo travellers, but It should be doable for couples/duo's (keep in mind there not much space to open up check-in sized luggage's) "
