"Beautiful property to stay at. The grounds are very well maintained. Beautiful pool (unheated but nice and cool on a hot day!). Wonderful coffee shop. Very nice restaurant (I used for breakfasts). The architecture of the newer buildings (restaurant, coffee shop, tea house) is really nice and modern and fits wonderfully in with the rustic feel and look of the old tobacco barns. "Top notch location, really nice staff. Breakfast was terrible. Room was good, but bathroom smelled of sewage and found 2 roaches in the room. We booked 2 rooms that were adjoined. My parents room was clean and in decent shape, however my room had half alive roach and a small dead one in shower. Was not the cleanest and the smell did not disappear even after 3 nights. Staff was really nice and we walked around everywhere. Staff booked the best elephant tour for me and packed us breakfast for when we checked out due to an early flight. "
