"First, the pictures on expedia or even the hotels website did not do this place justice. This is a gorgeous hotel with lots to do and see. We were checked in by "Lucky" who spoke really great english. He spent about an hour with us checking us in, walking us to our rooms, showing us everything in our rooms and helping with luggage. Both the dinner and breakfast were buffet with lots of options. I think we were the only foreigners there but they did not treat us any different. The shuttle down to...

"Our stay at TOU was truly relaxing, the hotel condition was excellent, everywhere was neat and clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful, they shared great recommendations of ‘must see attractions’ delivering unique and memorable experience of Kusatsu Onsen. We had the half board, stayed 2 nights there, the dining experience was amazing, great food, well-decorated dishes and polite staff. Our highly recommended stay at Kusatsu."

"Beautiful facility, the front desk speak good English, 16mins walk to the main town center, Yubatake. The food was excellent! Many different onsen to use at the facility, some are private. The bed was a little firm for me, otherwise everything was perfect!"

"Exterior of the house is very pretty. There’s big parking space right the the entrance of each house. Private pool & sauna available. However there are many restrictions/ house rules. Pool & sauna are not available after 9pm & before 7am. Have to clean up everything after using the kitchen. Also futons are available but it was way too thin than normal. Feels like sleeping on hard floor, very uncomfortable. "
