We paid too much but had a good time

We were initially a little disappointed by the location of the hotel - which is on a main road and about ten minutes walk from the beach. There were other cheaper hotels closer to the beach which we hadn't found on the internet (but most of them didn't serve alcohol) - indeed we suspect we paid about double what we would have paid if we had booked locally for this hotel. However the hotel staff were great and we ended up having a really enjoyable few days - staff were very friendly and helpful. Location proved to be good because the hotel was on the main road so gave easy access to all the local restaurants, ATMs, supermarkets, etc.. We ended up getting mopeds and travelling to other beaches which were better than the local one. The rooms had a safe (but this wasn't attached to anything) and like most hotels in this part of the world there was only cold water in the shower.

Run down but good location

The location is good on a street with many great restaurants and close to attractions. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are ok, although very run down. For instance the toilet seat was broken with sharp plastic splinters in it, the pool was not clean and the water not replaced. The hotel needs to be renovated but if you just need a place to sleep at night, it is ok because of the location and staff.

In die Jahre gekommendes Hotel, das rundum renovierungsbedürftig ist. Das Badezimmer war eine Zumutung, die Toilette stank, Wasserversorgung nicht immer gewährleistet. Der Pool war außer Betrieb, moosiges Wasser begrüßte uns jeden Morgen. Einen Preisnachlass gab es natürlich nicht. Das Frühstück war akzeptabel, schlicht und einfach. Das einzig positive waren die an und für sich freundlichen Mitarbeiter, die den schlechten Gesamteindruck jedoch auch nicht ändern konnten. Insgesamt alles andere als empfehlenswert!

Clean rooms and friendly staff

Good hotel in a good location in Kuta. The are severeal good restaurants in the area and it was a perfect place for us to stay for exploring Lombok and the surrounding beaches. The room was cleaned everyday and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included offered different options and we were more than satisfied. There seemed to be som problem with the cleaning of the pool so we didn't use it. But overall we enjoyed our stay and it filled our purpose. We extended our stay. We also rented motorbikes and had no hassle with it.

Like being in our own resort.

Loved the place. The staff are fantastic. It wasn't busy due to not being in busy season. The staff called us by name, we felt like family. If you are the type that doesn't want interaction you can have that too. The included breakfast was excellent as was the meals overall. We had the best room which was huge and right in front of the pool. You can rent a motorbike for A$6 per day. Airport transfer is available at A$15 each way which is quite fair as it is about 25 minutes from airport to Kuta, Lombok. Well worth the price. We will stay there again. They are building a new wing of rooms and doing renovations so it will only get better. Don't worry, The renovations are not getting in the way of a great stay.

Katastrophe! Nicht buchen!

In allen Zimmer tropfte Schimmel von der Decke, moderiger Geruch, widerliches "Bad" ohne Fenster oder Lüftung. Selbst für den relativ geringen Preis eine absolute Frechheit! In der Umgebung gibt es viele günstige und saubere Homestays. Wir haben obwohl wir schon im Voraus bezahlt hatten (Fehler!) nicht dort übernachtet. Hotel-Team nicht einsichtig und völlig überfordert.

Close to main street, restaurants and bars and activities. Hotel staff, especially Mimi, is awesome, so accommodating, our shower had an awful smell that lasted for a day. Smelled like urine. The grounds were quiet, peaceful, clean.

Expensive. Other similar and better places in area are better priced. We stayed only 2 nights because we had paid online with no refunds. While some staff were wonderful and polite. A lot were VERY rude and made us really uncomfortable about leaving any items in hotel. On arrival, no working air conditioning. Changed rooms. Toilet not working, backing up, long wait to be fixed. Pool area old, run down. Hot pool, uncomfortable. When leaving, we went to pay 5 hours EARLY. hotel machine not working, we wanted to surf and said we would return to pay. informed staff we would be changing, and down at next hotel, we would return to try machine in a few hours. Staff followed us, harassing us and our driver and continued to harass our next hotel staff. Informed manager of the HORRIBLE behaviour of staff. he didnt care. Do NOT stay here. our worst stay of southeast asia so far.

Just fair

just fair,we booked superior room,there are one bathroom and one toilet in a room,and wash basin is outside the toilet, so no fight in the morning. Room and furniture look old but was clean and comfort. Hotel facilities look old also. Swimming pool look bit dirty, but i saw two kids used it everyday and from day to night,they bring their toys together and i can hear them laugh when i locked myself in the room, so i don't know but i didn't swim. Wifi was very bad and always can't connected, we have to call to reception and ask them to restart or repair their server for few times per day. Breakfast was in single serving, less choice, taste not good and very salty.You get what you pay.

Abbiamo soggiornato a metà agosto. L'hotel tutto sommato non sarebbe male se si dedicassero alla tenuta della struttura. Il bagno è pieno di muffa ed umidità, non ci sono finestre e l'odore è nauseabondo. Davanti la camera ci sono delle vasche ornamentali con acqua sporca che attirano le zanzare

Das Hotel ist nicht empfehlenswert! Vor allem war das Badezimmer sehr unschön. Unsauber, schlecht riechend, alt. Da war sogar eine tote Mücke an der Fliesenwand und man sah sogar noch den Flip Flop Abdruck. Handtücher waren richtig unsauber. Keine Seife beim Waschbecken. Unfreundliches Personal, das von uns fast den doppelten Preis für den Verleih eines Scooters haben wollte, als überall an der Straße 10m weiter.

Very Run Down - Overpriced!

We were in Lombok for our honeymoon and booked to stay in this hotel for 2 nights. At £30 a night, we were not expecting a 5* experience, however we were still very disappointed. The hotel is VERY rough around the edges, dirty, mouldy and very badly maintained. The pool didn't look clean and had a large unfinished edge (like a trench) and the few seats there were around the pool were gross, not to mention the seriously mouldy parasols. We booked a king size suite and paid online. We were shown to a room with two twin beds, that certainly didn't resemble a 'suite'. When we asked about it, the man simply said 'sorry no king available'. Well this would be okay if we had walked in off the street, but when we have already booked and paid for something, that is what you expect to get. We let it go, it wasn't a big deal. The bathroom smelt awful, like old toilet and really stinky drain. It wasn't clean, there was hair stuck to the walls by the shower and we had to keep the extractor fan on and the door shut to try and reduce the putrid smell in the room. Breakfast was poor to average. The only good part was they managed to get us a moped to rent and booked us a car to get back to Senggigi. For the price of this place, you'd be much better off in a little homestay somewhere!

Pas au bord de la mer!!!

L'adresse spécifiée sur Hotels.com n'est pas la bonne!! L'hôtel n'est pas située au bord de la mer !! Il est dans le centre et on entend sans arrêt la circulation.... De plus, il y a un chantier juste à côté où ils travaillent parfois jusqu'à 22H. Sans parler de la proximité de la mosquée qui vous réveillera tous les jours à 5H du matin. Pas besoin de réveil. Le petit déj est trop léger. Vous en sortirez avec la faim. Idéal si vous faites un régime ;-) Gros problèmes avec le Wifi, sans arrêt! Il y a des coupures d'électricité le jour et la nuit, on entend des souris sous le toit (faux plafond). La chambre standard est vétuste et on entends tout à travers les murs. On a cherché le sauna mais on ne l'a pas trouvé! Points positifs : l'équipe (dans sa majorité) est gentille et serviable, location de scooter possible sur place et pas cher (heureusement car il y en a vraiment besoin, la plage de Kuta étant horrible!)
