"Mmmm...on arrival we were made to feel very unwelcomed. We were not expected and then was criticised for booking through Expedia because the $ the host received was a much smaller % compared to other booking groups! (I then learnt that Hotels.com is owned by Expedia!!) We got an 'upgrade' which was not necessary. The rest of the o/n stay was pleasant."

"Pas de chambre prête à notre arrivée, très sale, sans eau chaude, sans toilette et sans clim le 1er jour, le 2ème jour changement de chambre mais toujours pas d'eau chaude, cafard dans la chambre, chambre hyper humide avec une odeur hyper désagréable. "The property is a newly built house, great design, very ill maintained. Smelly blankets, no bedsheet between the blanket and your body. Uncleaned rags in front of the bathroom. No tea-coffee and hot water kettle in the room, no water bottle in the room. I paid $43 for my stay, seems there are better options nearby at half the price."

"The pictures are deceiving. Positive thing is that the room is spacious and AC is fantastic. Everything else is something to criticize on. I.e a ton of mosquitos, washroom is full of stains, the doors to the bathroom doesn’t close properly making mosquitos to fly into the room through the bathroom. The bed had mattress cover but no blankets whatsoever and had to explicitly request one, which showed up as if a few cats picked a fight in it. "
