"Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe, and most aspects of our visit met our expectations. Our arrival experience was a little frustrating. The GPS directed us to the exit rather than the main entrance, which made finding the hotel confusing. When we arrived around 2:00PM, the front desk associate was not particularly welcoming, and her explanation regarding valet parking was somewhat vague. We were informed that our room was not yet ready, but after going to lunch, we received a call around 2:45 PM letting us know the room was available. During that interaction, the second front desk associate was much friendlier and more helpful.
The biggest issue during our stay was housekeeping service. On our second day, I had to contact housekeeping and the front desk multiple time to request room cleaning (light service). During one call, I was told that check-in rooms had priority and that my room would be serviced before 7:00PM. While I understand the need to prioritize arriving guests, it was disappointing to have to follow up several times before receiving service.
Aside from these issues, everything else worked well. The room was comfortable, the location was convenient, and we enjoyed our stay overall. With some improvements to early arrival guest and housekeeping service, the guest experience would be even better."
