"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Banhoek Lodge in Stellenbosch. From the moment we arrived (the welcome mimosa was a very nice touch) everything felt warm, welcoming, and beautifully considered. The setting is simply spectacular, surrounded by breathtaking mountains and vineyards, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The lodge itself is stunning, with stylish, comfortable rooms, beautiful views, and a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. The hospitality was exceptional; the team...

"I cannot recommend highly enough.
I stayed for 5 nights in September and would return tomorrow if i could.
The hotel itself is lovely with a lovely garden, it looks out over the park, there is tea and cake available every afternoon and it feels so homely. The staff are faultless and could not be nicer or more helpful if they tried, it was such a pleasure to stay there and is only a few minutes walk from the centre but lovely and quiet."

"The setting of the hotel is lovely with great views in every direction. The property is more homely than high quality and although the people serving were lovely, it lacked the quality and finesse that we have seen elsewhere in SA eg Lanzerac and Raddisson Cape Town. The service at dinner was warm and welcoming but the foot was ordinary. The rare steak I ordered was medium to well done. I’d suggest the property is due for a refurbishment as in places our room looked tired. Location 5 stars;...
