"The check in was fast, efficient and welcoming. The staff was kind and friendly. The hotel location was away from the train station but was in an older neighborhood with lots of dining, small bars and shopping. The neighborhood was quaint, had a river walk and fun and beautiful to walk around.
The room was amazing with a beautiful view of Kyoto and was comfortable and spacious.
The breakfast was half order and half buffet. The choices were eggs Benedict and French toast. Both were amazingly delicious. It was located on the 6 th floor with the check- in. The 6 th floor had a bar and restaurant. The view from the 6 th floor was wonderful.
It had a concierge room with free drinks and snacks. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the afternoon and when we returned in the evening, we roasted a marshmallow on the outside fire side table. It seemed everyone was also enjoying this so we were able to meet some of the other guests.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone."
