"Excellent location, but rooms could be improved. This hotel boasts a great location in Can Pastilla, with friendly, professional, and helpful staff. It is within easy walking distance to local restaurants and features a convenient nearby bus stop for a short ride into Palma. The pools are excellent, offering great lounging areas with bar and food services. One pool faces directly across the beach, providing beautiful views of the boardwalk and sea.However, the accommodations fell short. As an adult-only hotel, having double twin beds pushed together did not make for a romantic weekend getaway. Additionally, despite turning the air conditioning to its highest setting, the room never felt cool enough for comfortable sleep, and the mini-fridge took hours to get cold. On a positive note, the room and bedding were perfectly clean."

"All the facilities in this property are really well kept. Rooms are big and really nice. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. The spa, swimming pools, and the gym are really well kept. Even with new machines at the gym, I really enjoy staying there. Also, the vibe is more adults versus kids. I will for sure comeback"

"Nice large resort type property - clean and well maintained. Beachside access is terrific and overall location is well placed. Food was average, and pools were nice and welcoming but did not provide poolside waiter service, lack of music or much of a scene at the pools."

"I loved my stay at Hotel Balear. The hotel itself (decor and architecture, fixtures) reminded me in the best way of childhood experiences in European hotels in the 70s and 80s. Everything was clean, nice, well kept, and comfortable (I slept very well). The single room was large, with plenty of storage space if one were staying for a week or so. I loved the hallways of the building and made a point of taking the stairs to look at the artwork. Breakfast was good, with many options. I especially appreciated the reading room/library/lounge on the second floor, as a pleasant place to escape to write in a journal or compose a postcard, or just read or simply sit on a comfortable sofa and look out the window. The location is great if you're in Palma for the beach! Plenty of good restaurants and takeaway places around; noise was not an issue; the hotel is easy to find and has the front desk staffed 24 hrs."

"We had the BEST stay at Playa Golf! Had read reviews about it being noisy and honestly the balcony doors are very noise cancelling and we slept so well (sea view room) and felt very safe. Everything was spotless and the hotel has everything you could need! It was amazing being a stone throw away from the beach and lots of restaurants / bars. Huge bonus getting free access to the most beautiful beach club next door too. Breakfast was delicious - it had everything you could think of and was always well restocked. The staff were all so lovely, friendly and helpful. Reception staff also help you book taxis and excursions. As an area it’s busy and has a nice buzz. It’s very close to Palma, the airport and Aqualand. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more!"
