"Beautifully designed hotel, with friendly staff and a vibrant (and not too touristy) neighbourhood. I've stayed in Le Ballu before and think it's now become where I most like to stay in Paris. It's very walkable to, for example, Opera or Montmartre and has a direct metro line to the Notre Dame area, so it's very well located while also being a bit away from the tourist crush. The rooms are absolutely beautiful - an oasis of calm."

"Staff was very nice. The area was bustling with a lot cafes and restaurants. Public transportation was very close by either busses or the Metro. The city itself was made to walk and later by traveling by metro. Traffic is intense so be wary of using cars or busses to travel. Lots of bakeries and different options for food including fast food options that taste better than what you'd find back home. Kind of a quirky hotel but that basically makes sense it's located in the old red light district....

"It was my first trip to Paris, and I booked a hotel in the Montmartre area on Expedia without giving it much thought. It turned out to be an excellent choice. From Gare du Nord, I walked toward the Moulin Rouge, then turned right and continued up the slope for a while before arriving. The staff welcomed me with genuine warmth. "All rhe staff we encountered during our start were polite, attentive and helpful. We arrived early and wanted to drop our bags off but instead they arranged an early check in which was a wonderful surprise. Great location 2 mins walk from Moulin Rouge and Blanche Metro."

"Room was nice and clean , the bed was comfortable, bathroom was snug but once the shower door was folded to open and shut it wasn’t really that much of problem.Nearest metro for connection to Gare du Nord is just a short walk so getting about was easy enough.Staying again in March so that must be a recommendation . "

"We've had a wonderful stay in Le Katorze, the property is in very good condition in a convenient location near Montmartre and near a metro station. The staff was kind and accommodating. A good choice for a short or longer visit in Paris."

"The room was well equipped with a hairdryer, garment steamer, safe and Nespresso Coffee Machine. The shower was a good size and easy to regulate the temperature. The shower gel, shampoo and hair conditioner had a great fragrance. The room was equipped with 1 espresso cup and 1 larger cup but they were happy to provide 2 mugs for tea on asking.
