Though big kudos to the front desk agents, the check-in process/tools made it surprisingly slow, with a lot of very unhappy guests in the lobby waiting to get to their room keys. This can be much faster by allowing online check-in ahead of the arrival (as many other hotels do), as well as allow code (or cell phone) room door keys (as a few hotels now do). "Everything is good. It is located near the city of art and science (15 minutes walking). There's huge carrefour near the museums inside a mall (reachable by bus #35), so it's a plus. 10minutes bus to downtown (old town/ciudad vieja) and also estacion del nord.
The receptionist isn't necessarily friendly but definitely helpful.
The room service is limited since they are cooperating with another company to handle it.

"Very disappointed at the maintenance of the hotel. We paid around 275Eur for a 1-night stay.
The bathroom was really poorly maintained; the shower was a handheld shower that was really hard to turn on as it was soooo old and had floppy controls, the taps were detached from the wall and would move a lot every time you use them so much so that we thought they would fall off. The bath was thin plastic that popped as you walk on it (to take a shower). The sink was not draining.

"Good hotel but I wouldn't say it's worth such a high rating. The main door has no seal so you can hear everything on the corridor but also at night the light on the corridor turn in when someone is passing and instantly lights the hotel room too because of the spacing around the door. Breakfast was ok but repetitive since it's not buffet. Bathroom also not sealed so all the steam goes in the room. Staff was helpful with things when asked."

"Hébergement bien situé à proximité de la cité des arts et des sciences et annexé au centre d’achat. Chambre propre mais cependant, porte de salle de bain qui ne ferme pas complètement et givrée donc on voit à travers. Mais le plus gros point négatif, air climatisé qui arrête de fonctionner la nuit donc on se réveille tout en sueur avec une température de 28 degrés dans la chambre. Donc, s’il fait chaud à l’extérieur, ce n’est pas agréable. Pour le reste, bel établissement."
