"Good breakfast starting at 6am 👍. Very helpful staff. Had a problem with internet going off and on only on my floor. Reported it and they quickly dispatched some to diagnose. A simple router reboot cleared the problem and it never occurred again. Staff were very patient with my poor Spanish and use of translator. I’ve stayed at a number of Ibis hotels and this was a good experience. "

"This is a beautiful colonial hotel! Stayed 2 nights and enjoyed my stay. Beautiful grounds and atmosphere! Comfortable bed and the A/C worked very well, important on the Colombian coast! The staff are excellent and you are always greeted with a smile. The breakfast too was superb with a wide variety. There is also good safe parking. The only thing I would say is that the hotel is almost 100 years old and could use some love in a few areas. The shower had some chipped tiles on the floor and the pool is great but again had missing tiles on the pool floor. However I will certainly return to Barranquilla and stay at El Prado again! Thanks for a nice stay!"
