"Peaceful bliss but a great location with lots going on as well. I travelled to a lot of Switzerland from Morgins as a beautiful base. I could easily have spent the day on my hotel balcony drowning on the pure mountain air, listening to the cow bells and the chairlift opposite. Owner & wife delightful and helpful along with great staff. Home cooked evening meals available which were excellent but also lots of restaurants available for a change of scene. I might be making it all sound...

"We had to have a discussion with the reservation staff to get a better room. We were assigned a first floor room over looking a parking lot. After some discussion and significant increase in room cost we were moved to a larger third floor room with a nice view of Lake Geneva. What is the point of staying at the Grand Hotel du Lac if you can’t see the lake from your room. The hotel had many large tour groups who swarm in and out fast. Our overall experience was very good it is a very elegant...
