"It looks like this hotel was recently converted from a Motel 6 and they're still working out a few of the kinks. The staff were the best part of the experience, the guy working the night check-in desk on May 23rd was juggling a lot while still being very kind and professional. Then again, a few people's rooms got cancelled on them because we were showing up too late (11:30pm), which I wasn't a fan of. "Very convenient location and surprisingly quiet [at least in our room], considering the proximity to the freeway and the abundance of young children present on the property. Our room was pleasant and our request for third floor room with beamed ceiling was accommodated. The sliding door on our balcony would not latch, but we felt safe enough with the chain lock engaged. Our room was not ready at 3:00 PM check-in. We were told it would be about 30-40 minutes and we would receive a call when...

"Sick vibes"

"Please be aware that if you call ahead and request an early check-in, they charge $25 per hour for the privilege. We're both elderly and wanted to rest before going out. We've never had such a charge before. We did decline. The first gentleman who served us was excellent. He checked us in and also helped us carry our bags in. In the room, neither the refrigerator nor the microwave nor the television was working. When I first called the front desk the woman who answered said there was no one...

"Waypoint Ventura is a treat, to say the least. All the vintage trailers are beautifully appointed and restored. Plus, the whole vibe in the place is just fantastic. Easy walkability to great restaurants and breweries. Looking forward to my next stay and trying a different travel trailer next time."
