"There are not too many hotels in Groveland, but this one stands out. Very clean, well maintained, staff are very helpful. If you are arriving late, read the email/message for instructions how to check in. We arrived late but check in was straightforward although there were no staff at reception, the keys to the rooms were in a lockbox and rooms were ready and well provisioned with all required amenities."

"The rooms are huge, beautiful clean! The beds are comfortable and they give you plenty of pillows and towels. Towels are big for me I have long hair. I usually have to ask for extra towels. The pool is great and so beautiful at night. There's a good choice of restaurants, and the food was yummy. Casino was fun. They gave us free Bluetooth speakers as a gift for signing up for their players cards. All the artwork is hilarious. Chickens, aliens an occasional dinosaur and big foot! We are planning another trip there. Loved it!"

"Unusually designed hotel. Each room had an exterior door and we had to walk 1/2 block to go to our free breakfast. The food selection was not as varied as some other hotels but was adequate. The room was fine. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was large with a nice sized vanity. It was walking distance to a lot of restaurants since it was downtown and we were given a map of the restaurants and they type of food they served."

"WOW! We were taken by surprise with this place. Located on Main St., the Royal Carriage Inn is one of the oldest permanent structures in Jamestown, and is beautifully restored and updated. It's only managed by America's Best Inn & Suites. It's clean, quiet, and comfortable with coffee maker, fridge, microwave, and blow dryer. The room is small but not cramped. The bathroom is shower only and IS cramped, but it's fine. Breakfast is included, but we didn't realize it until it was too late. The staff were amazing and informative! If you want to enjoy a different experience in loding, this is your place. We will definitely be back!"

"Loved the clean and organized room in the pleasant Jamestown nature. The interior feels warm for guests to comfortably stay. Availability of a little more power outlets would have been nicer. Thanks for the additional foldable bed and chairs, made available for us."
