"The property has beautiful grounds and nice amenities like the pool and the fire pit. The coffee at the kiosk was delicious. Food at the restaurant was good and the service was great. The room was run-down and dated. There was an overall smell that was musty and unpleasant, not just in the room but throughout the building. Maybe it was due to being so close to the ocean but it was definitely noticeable. I was disappointed that we couldn’t access walking trails near the hotel. The trail started away from the hotel and followed the busy street. But it was a short drive to go to a beautiful beach that was perfect for a long walk. The service all around was lovely. Everyone was friendly and happy to help us. It was a good stay but not great. "

"Pleasant stay, clean rooms, varied breakfast choices, though more fruit variety like berries would be nice. Rooms facing the pool are not soundproof; morning foot traffic, conversation by housekeeping staff and children in the pool are a downside for those who who want to sleep in. "
