"Except poor service- front desk stuff didn’t even welcome guests on arrival and seemed to be having a bad day. I’m not planning on staying at this location again."

"Amazing staff, delicious food from the restaurant, beautiful infinity pool! Bed was pretty comfortable and the front desk brought us extra pillows upon request. If you pay when you book you have a better chance of getting the balcony room IF you reserved one. The balcony rooms are limited. Would definitely stay there again!"

"Room was spacious and clean, the staff were super nice and helpful, from the doormen, front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff. The pool was clean, not crowded and fun for the kids. The Premium Lounge for snacks and refreshments available throughout the day was a nice surprise. Breakfast was good. It’s an older hotel, but generally well maintained, and the location is convenient, across from Bambu City Center mall. The Bambu City Center was also a meeting spot for our tour company, so that was very convenient. We had a great time in El Salvador and enjoyed our stay at the Barceló San Salvador. "

"The property has your typical 70s vibes( it was built then) lots of improvements being done parking was big an with easy access the food was very good and I don’t think it was overpriced place has a lot of potential beach is beautiful a bit rough to swim in apparently had some kind of abnormal tides and currents the scenery is spectacular unmatched sunsets I like the place overall "
