"Friendly staff, reasonable cafeteria prices including set menu that can be viewed on the website. Easy to walk into the town centre up the hill . Plenty of loungers to relax by the pool which was warm enough to swim in. Induction hob, fridge and sink in room which was handy. It would be even better with a microwave and kettle or the option to hire one. Evening entertainment looked fun but we went for a walk along the beach instead. Plenty of places nearby for food and drink. We had a lovely relaxing time. You can also book excursions directly with the hotel reception and the coaches pick up outside the hotel. "

"We enjoyed our stay in Málaga at the MS Maestranza Centro. It was a little more expensive than most similarly decked-out hotels we stayed at throughout Spain, but I'm guessing that's because we were near the ocean (which was always a lovely diversion -- nice beach!). We were right next to the bullfighting ring (you can tour it), which was interesting. It was a bit loud in the rooms, though it was Holy Week, so maybe that had something to do with it. Bring earplugs, you'll be fine. Staff was friendly, breakfast was well done, views out the window while eating were quite nice. My only minor complaint would be the King size bed was two singles, so the beds would slide apart occasionally. I'm wondering if there's a way to connect the two beds so that doesn't happen? Just a thought!"

"The room had an excellent view to the beach. The room only has a helicopter ceiling fan which was even in April insufficient to keep cool at night. Space for clothes is very limited and the area for hanging clothes will be too high for small people. The beds were very comfortable. Cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general was excellent. Food was of a high quality but lacked more variety. The snack offering for all inclusive clients was laughable: it only appeared at 5 pm and was a small side table in the lobby bar. It was demolished within half an hour. Drinks weren’t available on the rooftop bar for all inclusive customers and there were other restrictions, too for these customers. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and some went above and beyond. The beach is right outside the hotel. There is a tiny adult pool and a larger family pool area that you have to walk to going past the beach. Dribks and snacks can be bought there. It feels a bit on the small side and was busy in April and must be crowded in the Summer months. Slides for kids are great entertainment and the pool itself was good and has a little separate jacuzzi as well. The rooftop in the hotel has three jacuzzis for up to 6 adults but is often hogged for hours by the same entitled guests and hotel staff would not interfere which made this an unpleasant experience. The sunbeds and sun chairs up there are a great addition and the view from up there is spectacular. All in all it was a pleasant stay. "
