"Stayed here based on a glowing recommendation from friends. The good: the staff was very nice and attentive. The location was great for us since it’s literally in front of the streetcar. The rooms are very spacious, the water pressure in the shower was good. A mini fridge is provided and they offer convenient luggage storage which was greatly appreciated. Also, I noticed the hallways were very wide which is great for ADA accessibility. Small annoyances but not dealbreakers: The bathroom could use a few small repairs like the plastic door slide bumper was falling off and creating an irritating sound when you open and close the shower door. There was a fan/vent but unclear if it worked (no switch) and it was kind of rusty and dusty. The door hinges were rusty as a result of no fan. The towels were fine but the largest ones didn’t cover my whole body (personal preference). Right after we checked in, I noticed the hand soap dispenser was empty. I notified the staff and they immediately brought a full one. Grateful for an AC unit but it was either super freezing or just warm (again, personal problem). Our TV was dim and had a bright spot in the middle we thought was a glare, but it was the screen. The remote had basic function but no way to adjust settings. I understand that visitors do not come to NOLA to watch tv in their hotel room so this again is not a dealbreaker. These were all too small to bother the staff with or issues that would be out of their control. "
