"The BEST stay in Senegal! The photos do not do this place justice. It’s a hotel that feels like home. Everything was perfect from staff to facility. The pool is unbelievable. The lodge is less than a year old. Beautiful from inside out. Absolutely could go on and on about my wonderful stay. Top La Somone Hotel Reviews

Royam Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This is a well run hotel with manicured grounds, nicely decorated rooms and facilities, clean pool and beautiful beach. My only complaint is that the rooms have limited windows and are dark - when one stays at a beach resort, one wants to let the sun in and see the beach or the garden area. There should be floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors. Meaning to wake up with a nice view or not have to go outside into the heat to get a view is what one expects at a beach resort. Also, the food is good but breakfast could benefit from having English items like muffins and cinnamon forsted buns."

Villa Somone Pied Dans L'eau

8/10 Good

"We had an amazing stay at this beach house. The location was perfect, the house was very clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Overall, it was a great experience and we truly enjoyed our time there. The only area for improvement would be the check-in process and communication, which could have been smoother and more responsive. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again."

Blue Africa

10/10 Excellent

"Clean rooms right on a splendid beach. A/c and mosquito nets included. Many stores and services available on Hospital street just a few steps away. Safe neighborhood. Comfortable and free beach chairs provided by the hotel. Good breakfast, don't miss out on the delicious bissap juice, but could be served earlier say 6h30 instead of 7h30am for those going to Dakar or Bandia. "
