"The food at the Piedmont Restaurant was not good. The menu was too sophisticated for the staff to execute.
The lodge rooms were updated, but not very clean.
There was a bridge in the gardens with rotted wooden slats and steps, and one section of the rail was missing altogether.
The staff was friendly and helpful."
"It was a great environment our room neighbors where very funny they were drinking the whole time but one downside is our room smelled like cigarettes me nor my boyfriend smokes so it was weird but when you turned the air vent on it went away "
"We WERE repeat customers until this past weekend. Do not waste your money on this place. Overcrowded, hazardous conditions and not enough staff or security to keep rogue customers in check. My daughter’s birthday was ruined as we had to cut our weekend short 7 hours in. She couldn’t even swim in the pool without being knocked over by other kids. At night there was screaming and yelling up the halls, outside and above our head was banging to the point where we could not even watch tv or fall asleep. This place has changed for the worse!"
"The staff was very nice. The coffee is really good but no eggs ( except hard boiled ) or meat are available for breakfast. Bottom line, the room are filthy. The first room that was given to us smelled heavy of urine. I was given another room with no problem but there are visible stains on the comforters, carpets and curtains. When I showered the towel that I used looked like someone had previously used it clean their hands after working on a vehicle. I guarantee you I was not THAT dirty. Overall it's ridiculous to charge people money for services and be okay with the lack of any reasonable quality."
"Always a great stay while visiting LaGrange College! The beds are ridiculously comfortable and the rooms are always spotless! The staff at the front desk and restaurant/bar/coffee shop were awesome and so welcoming!"
