"The location to town, parking and check in were easy. Helen, the duty manager, was really accommodating and responded promptly when we needed to make a room adjustment. The premium double was relatively small, more suited for single travellers or those staying a night, 2 maximum and plan on spending most of their time out and about. "The location is good. With trailheads within walking distance. They’ve tried to automate processes that either don’t work or are useless. For example the automated car registration didn’t help them notify me that my car would be blocked for a morning while heavy equipment was being moved in. Free WiFi means no useable WiFi. They did upgrade my WiFi service but should just ditch the ‘free’ version. The staff are multitasking leaving people waiting for services. Hats off to them."

The room was very cosy and warm and clean extra pillows very nice shower also had dinner food was outstanding staff were very helpful and attentive to any request we had amazing big playground for kids spotless to pool gym. I couldn't fault this hotel staff will go above and beyond to make sure ur needs are met. Very very nice hotel they have everything u need overall it was the staff they were fantastic, very warming and polite family friendly pets to amazing place.also...

"The Cairn Hotel is a lovely hotel in a great location, with friendly and helpful staff throughout my stay. Whilst my room wasn’t en-suite, my private toilet was 2 steps across the corridor - not big deal, but remember your key otherwise you're locked out of your room Dinner was excellent from a well appointed menu, I had the haggis lasagne which was very well presented, generously portioned, and served efficiently. "Everything about our stay was 5 star!! The staff, when checking in, was very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant staff were amazing. Their service was excellent. They were very friendly and outgoing. The place was immaculate. Very nicely decorated. The rooms were so beautiful!! If we were to visit again, I would definitely be booking this place again."
