Cambria Hotel Mount Pleasant – Charleston

"The room was very clean. Kelli at the front desk was Great. She was very helpful with where to eat and what to do, a real genuine people person, as was Rachael at the bar. She is the sweetest young woman and also suggested a trip to Folly Beach. There was plenty of parking. The gym looked well maintained, but we never went in. As for the pool, it was murky and did not look too inviting, so we steered clear of it. It also would have been nice to have a large container of fresh, ice water with a spigot to self-serve available in the lobby for guests without having to pay $2.00 for a bottle of water."

"Service was top notch. When I arrived in my room, there was a weird smell (a dog may have been there recently)....anyway, a quick call to the front desk had me in a new room in minutes. I saw the same lady who helped me a couple of hours later and she inquired whether I was comfortable in the new room. 10/10 will stay again!"

"I had a wonderful stay at The Charleston Place. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and very clean, with fresh flowers and beautiful greenery throughout the property that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location is excellent, right in the heart of historic Charleston, making it very convenient to explore the city on foot. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, and always made us feel welcome. I also loved the beautiful lobby and the overall attention to detail throughout the hotel. It was a lovely experience, and I would happily stay here again."

"The Palmetto was absolutely perfect. First impression walking in is a gorgeous, inviting sitting room and a beautiful bar around the corner at the entrance, and then very lovely staff welcoming at check in. The room and (large) bathroom were clean and also beautiful. I love that a steamer was in the closet, which came in handy. Nice mini bar, though we didn’t use it. Very comfortable bed and lovely linen. Excellent pastries at breakfast as well as fruit, grits, hard boiled eggs, and excellent coffee. The hotel’s location was absolutely perfect to see the historic city and the coastline and to wonderful restaurants. All the staff we encountered were lovely. Family met us from Florida for the weekend and stayed there also for the 3 day weekend and loved the hotel as much as we did, and it was a feather in my cap that I found it!"
