"Staff and breakfast amazing"

"Excellent view from the room and common/ breakfast area of the lake and mountains beyond. Comfortable, cosy room with great bathroom facilities. Staff extremely helpful with advice on local restaurants, weather and booking trips for us. Easy walk to and from town, but there is a shuttle car service in the evening for when the weather makes walking less appealing!"

"Destino Calafate was a pleasant surprise for the decent, economical pricing they had! The hotel room was spacious, we as a family of 4 had plenty of room with 3 beds in the room. There are a lot of storage space and shelf’s which made it convinient to store all our luggage’s. We initially only planned to stay 2 nights , however due to the comfort and convenience of this hotel and staff being so courteous and welcoming , we decided extend ti 4 nights instead of staying in el chalten. El calafate in general is a central location to several places like el chalten , a Torres del Paine , Perito Moreno glacier etc and there are daily bus tours to al these places available and they can pick you up from destino calafate. "

"Room size is larger than average hotel. Very friendly staff. Great view to lake and mountains. Downside is little bit walk to Main Street. "

"Breakfast menu was fresh and excellent choices. Staff was very helpful and polite. we used Laundry service which was very quick and they charged $35 for full bag of cloths. overall very happy with this pick. "
