"I would not stay here again. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't good either. The hallway to our room reeked of beer and weed, at all times. At approximately 5:00am I was awoken by people cursing at each other at the top of their lungs, and slamming doors. Not at all worth the $211 price tag. The morning staff were very friendly, but the evening staff were not. There was a $4 hidden administrative fee upon check-in (not concerned about the amount, only that it was not disclosed at booking). The toilet didn't flush well. The bed was comfortable enough, the A/C worked well and wasn't too loud. The unit had a new kitchenette, and the room had all the necessities. But the rooms were partial remodels, so the ceiling was quite apparently aged, as was the shower door, and the paint/trim job wasn't clean. They had a nice-looking "market" in the lobby. The pool was small, and looked ok, but we didn't use it. I can't speak to breakfast, as we tried to walk through the building as little as possible (thankfully, we were right next to an exit door), and opted to eat out. I gave 3 stars on the off-chance that staff was having a bad day and it was an unfortunate coincidence that we were in the same hallway as the unpolished guests."

"when we entered the property we noticed that the fire alarm was beeping cause it needed a new battery, we texted the owners immediately and maintenance did not come by until the next day, therefore we couldn't sleep we the sound beeping on and off. The Keurig coffee maker was not working properly and it was also changed the next day The cabin didn't have towel bars where we could hang the towels when wet, not enough hooks either The smaller room has no a/c and our friends complained that they were hot The place is quiet and clean, parking right in front of the unit. We didn't need to wash clothes but noticed that there was a laundry room in the property, didn't use the pool either. "

"We left the room at 9am, I told one of the staff to change the sheets and towls and clean the room. The day we rented the room on of the beds the sheets were dirty that i had it cheered the othe bed with my daughter and my husband sleep in the sofa. Were too tire to go and complain because they already changed us one time already. The next day at 9am we left the room but before we left i spoke with one of the staff and i explained to her the situation, she said she was going to talk to whoever was in charge to clean that room. We got back by 2:30 in the afternoon, the room door was open, the room wasn't clean at all. I spoke with the manager that and they just sai that were sorry also the exit door doesn't close like the other i told them. I told the who is going to feel safe on a place like that. Well i ask for refund for my 2nd night because we left and they refuses to give it to us. Never again "

"I bookeed two nights, 3/3 - 3/4/26 for a surgical appointment in Lakeland. I paid extra for the Personal Protection Plan assuming I would be able to cancel if something came up. My surgery was pushed back a week, and I tried to cancel or reschedule for another time. I went on the hotels.com site and corresponded with an AI since I couldn't get a hold of a person. "It" said that it was non-refundable and non rebookable. What did I pay for then on the Personal Protection Plan ?? I should get a full refund or two nights free. Neither were not helpful or accommodating. Wouldn’t use Hortels.com or Comfort Inn in the future. "
