Top Lake Dulverton Conservation Area Hotel Reviews
Tandara Motor Inn
10/10 Excellent
"We are giving this small-town motor inn a five star out of five simply because it has an inner soul that made us feel at home despite its ageing condition. We felt positive vibes because of the relaxed and laidback atmosphere, the delicious hot meal of lamb shanks and chicken curry and the friendly and warm staff especially Stephanie who is very attending and caring. The room attendants and our waitress who served us a sumptuous dinner are equally lovable people with a good sense of community spirit. In my personal opinion, this bistro-style accommodation is the authentic gateway to Maria Island!"
Eastcoaster Tasmania
8/10 Good
"Unfortunately there was a build up of mould on the shower floor. Breakfast was advertised as being available on the deck from 7.30, wasn’t open. However breakfast was available from the restaurant overlooking the water. We chose to eat in Orford. Indoor pool was used by my partner for her hydrotherapy requirement."
Brighton Hotel Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Very comfortable room, great place to stay"
Rathmore
10/10 Excellent
"The Rathmore House is a 92-acre estate nestled on a rolling hill in the central highlands region of Tasmania. The peaceful and tranquil surrounding of the property was all we needed to pace ourselves after two weeks of manic road travel from our Hunter Valley home in New South Wales. Staying in this historic site for two nights had a bucolic and rural touch that made us feel more at home than transient tourists hopping from one hotel to another. The beautiful and elegant homestead consists of tasteful and stylish rooms in the main Rathmore House, a fully equipped and self-catering cottage, and a shearers quarter decked with bespoke rooms styled in rustic perfection and suited for all types of travellers. Room amenities are eco-friendly and gentle to the environment. We slept like a log during our two-night stay here proving this property to be a comfortable and safe place to be. Above all, staying in the Rathmore will not break the bank because the cost of accommodation is relatively affordable. The Rathmore offers quality and clean rooms that are the best value for your money. A day or more here is absolutely a surreal experience unique to Tasmania. You will have a moment of a lifetime spotting resident platypus in the lake as well as feeding and patting horses, named Tim Tam and Emily, a bullock named Hercules, and three alpacas. Our hosts, Cally and Richard, helped us create memories we will never forget."
