We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally caring, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay as comfortable as possible. They listened carefully to all of our requests and were always happy to help, which made us feel truly welcomed and well looked after. The only minor downside was that the breakfast selection was somewhat limited and could offer a greater variety of dishes. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would gladly recommend this hotel to others.

Stayed here on 4th of July weekend with my teenage son. The location is perfect to enjoy Lake Placid, everything is an easy walk. The common areas are anesthetic, modern, and have a perfect view of Mirror Lake. We had a lake view room, it was beautifully designed and very spacious. The cleanliness of the room was overall very good but the baseboards did have a heavy layer of dust and debris, so I knocked off one star for that. Would definitely recommend if you’re spending time in Lake Placid!

The hotel room was very basic. Instead of curtains, there were only blinds, and there were no bedside tables next to the bed. The breakfast was disappointing, with only coffee, pastries, yogurt, and fruits available. The best thing about this hotel is its location - it's right in the city center.

Very clean and excellent location!!! Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very unique! The only “complaint” I have is that the pull out sofa was terrible. It was more like a futon- very hard and no mattress at all, literally just sleeping on an uncomfortable sofa. That should not be considered an additional sleeping space.

We have a new go-to hotel for Lake Placid. Despite the holiday weekend, the pricing was competitive compared to the other hotels. It has been beautifully renovated from its days as the Blue Bird. If you stayed there in the past, you wouldn't recognize it now. The decor is modern. There is plenty of lounge space to gather with friends or enjoy a cup of coffee reading overlooking the water on a rainy day. The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Highly recommend!
