Excellent position for Gondola

Very friendly and great location. Staff very friendly and offered a good deal to say an additional night if we got snowed in.

Name change Hotel Becket?, hotel is in good locat.

Under renovation! No breakfast No spa No bar No restaurant! Bed was not comfortable, fridge was in poor location, noticed some trash underneath the dresser on 1st day, and shower head was the worst only 5 holes poured out!! We stayed 3 nights and no one plowed snow!Great location I'll give it that,

We stayed for one night for a ski trip. The hotel appears to be in transition, using 3 different names - 968 Park Hotel, Park Tahoe Inn, and Hotel Becket. This was unknown to us and we had to guess where to park and where to check in. They were still cleaning rooms at 5:00, so had to wait another hour. However, they softened the wait with 2 free drink tickets. The room looked recently remodeled, but they did not repair or replace everything. The room was clean, warm, and comfortable, and we woke up to 6" of overnight snow. Right across from Heavenly Village, with shopping, dining, ice skating, night life, movie theater all within a very short walk.

It is really a great hotel. Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 night for a winter break. It's very near to the heavenly ski resort and many little pretty shops near the hotel. The hotel room is very nice, cozy, and clean. I will still book this hotel next time when I visit south Lake Tahoe.

hotel is remodeling

spa was in construction and the hotel was remodeling. heater remote was messed up and tv was blurry for some reason. I wasn't notified that the spa wasn't working when booking so it kind of sucked. the hotel was great for its price but I think since it's remodeling I came in a bad time.

they called themself a "hotel", but it is a motel

I booked a couple nights through Exprdia last weekend and paid average $130 per night plus tax because the word " hotel". They are nothing come close to a hotel, don't let them fool you, a two stories motel set up, less than 200 square feet typical motel room with a super noise heater right to the bed, We can't sleep when it is on. Thank goodness no one got sick. a tine corner shower without vent fan, worse than average inn. No breastdfast included, no resturant, no amenities, some area under construction。I regretted the first night and tried to check out early, call the front desk and they said they can't do it because through Expedia, called Expedia twice on hold 40 minutes each time no one answer. Very bad experience ever, complete false description, won't book through Expedia again.

Decent hotel/inn near the Heavenly village

The bed was very comfortable. I liked the size of the room, very spacious. Positives: location (right across the street from Heavenly Village), big spacious room, simple, rustic design, sink was outside of the actually bathroom which made it easier to get ready while my guy was in the shower, and I liked the wardrobe. Negatives: cobwebs on the wall, dead spider near the sink, an unused towel had a reddish stain.. eeww Overall rating: Fair

Needs improvements

It seems the hotel works with other hotel so they directed us to another hotel so had to walk in the rain to the other hotel around the corner. Coffee maker not working and door was had to close. The inside was really nice decorated though. Staff didn't care of the issues I mentioned to them including not asking us how our stay was. Price was nice though. I guess you get what you paid for.

Excellent hotel, friendly staff, great stay

Park Tahoe and 968 Park are merging as one so there was confusion upon arriving as to where the front desk was located, but after finding the lobby and our room, we had a fantastic time. The memory foam beds are a huge plus, as was the small keureg coffee machine on the desk. Modern amenities were nice, the bathroom was very nice and clean too. Great hotel for a great price, was within walking distance to shops and casinos.

Used to be nice hotel.

Looks like it will not more 968.Hotel next to this take over it. So it's under renovation, changing name,etc.Current construction work on the site. Spa and sauna closed. No coffeemaker, hair dryer doesn't work,and customer service in the next building. You have to walk on the street several minutes. I hope it's just temporary, but I'm worrying that 968 unique rustic design will be gone. It's used to be nice place with worm atmosphere. Small bar at the lobby with live music and wine tasting over weekends.

Great location and comfort

It was good hotel with great access to heavenly village and all near restaurants, but wifi was droppjng quite frequently.
