Beautiful location. We traveled there for a wedding which was lovely. However amenities at the hotel were a bit lacking. No food located in the hotel and we had to cross the street for a cafe.

I was there for work. The front desk made check in a breeze, I had dinner in the bar and everyone was so friendly. Food was good! Room was clean. Shower was hot. Parking was easy every night when I got back to the hotel at midnight. 10/10 would recommend!

I’m sorry to say that our experience was very disappointing. The rooms were not clean, and we actually asked to be moved from our first room because of large stains on the carpet. Unfortunately, the second room wasn’t much better. The next day, we saw that they were cleaning the carpets in our original room. We couldn’t help but wonder why it took a guest complaint for this to happen. The stains were large and obvious and should have been addressed before the room was ever given to a guest. The carpet was in such poor condition that we didn’t even feel comfortable walking around the room without socks. Both rooms were in need of significant updating, especially considering the price point. We understand that the property is being sold and will reportedly be updated by the new ownership, which may explain its current condition. Unfortunately, that doesn’t change the experience for guests paying premium rates today. At one time, PlumpJack was the place to stay, which made this visit all the more disappointing. We left wishing we had chosen to stay elsewhere.

The room and property was stunning, and the location in the Palisades is to die for. However, the hotel was not able to support with securing transportation, and while I was there for two days, my room was never tended to by the cleaning staff. I asked for a later checkout and they told me not on the specific day of my checkout. There are hidden jacuzzi fees at the end of the stay whether you use it or not, and I was never given instructions on how to access the jacuzzi. There are no vending machines. I would return to stay at this establishment.

1000% location at Palisades. Older classic Tahoe type property but well maintained. Room rates competitive. Would stay again. Just not a world class resort feel or amenities. If you know Tahoe you won’t be disappointed.

I spent 5 wonderful nights at the Plumpjack Inn with my two dogs. Everyone was warm and welcoming. The hotel is lovely, the am coffee is superb, and the space is so peaceful and serene. The last time I had visited was in 2015. I will definitely be back. The caring of the staff and the ability to enjoy the hotel with your dog make this a magical space. I cannot recommend it enough.

The place is fine but honestly every element is in need of some major renovations. The rooms are tired, the pool area, the bar, its all 25 yrs old and it shows. It could really benefit from a glowup. The staff were very nice and the location is incredible. Just needs some tlc.

The key cards didnt work so every time we entered our room, from the swimming pool, hiking, dinner we had to go to the front desk and ask for thrm to be set after standing at our door trying them. A wedding used all of the area around the pool and you can hear other guests stomping their feet at night. Little sleep. Restaurant and housekeeping staff were a bright spot. Run down furnishings in the room for the cost.

Everything was fine except for when we went to leave we were charged 150 pet fee when it wasn't clear in the Expedia site was only on their personal website which we didn't even realize was there or was asked for a dog, but that was just their actual petty which tweet that was a bit, but the rest of the hotel was beautiful. You didn't get breakfast, but there was a beautiful pool beautiful design wonderful Jacuzzi.

Loved our stay at plumpjack inn. We were there for a wedding at White Wolf and it was great location! The hot tubs were perfect - not super hot in the morning and perfectly heated at night. The room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The robes were a really nice touch!!

BEWARE! If you are booking through a third party, the fees are NOT the same as what is advertised. And management does not address any issues. Was charged the most that I’ve ever been charged for a pet cleaning fee, and the room had dog hair on the headboard when we checked in. It’s completely outdated, old TVs, no device charging setups. It looks as if the last time they put money into upgrades was over 10 years ago. It is not a good value. KEEP DRIVING!!! There are way better accommodations across the street, for not much more, after they stop charging fees. This is the most regrettable hotel choice that I’ve made! HUGE LET DOWN!

Enjoyed staying at the PlumpJack. Walls are very thin and you can hear other guests; other than that, it's a great place and we would definitely stay there again!

I always enjoy staying at Plumpjack with my dog and appreciate having a table on the side of the restaurant where I can eat dinner and have her with me. Being accommodating to my gluten free and dairy free diet is also a plus! The bellmen were very accommodating as well and we are looking forward to our next station 6/18 on our way back home from our Colorado trip to see friends/family. The people at the front desk were also very Considerate!
