The room had soaring ceiling and windows, comfortable bed and pillows, great water pressure and heated towel rack. The staff was a delight; one concierge gave me a detailed explanation of the best route to hike Arthur’s Seat with a map to take with me, then wanted to hear all about it upon my return. "I stayed for 4 nights for work. I booked a small room as I only get a small work allowance. I was upgraded to a larger room on arrival, which I appreciated! The room was very clean, tidy and I had a lovely view. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. All members of staff I spoke to were very friendly. "The hotel is beautiful. The temperature inside the hotel is warm, considering the cold and rainy Edinburgh weather, the people cannot do enough for you, and it’s in a great location. The only problem is outside the hotel, it’s very busy because there’s the train stop right there and the bus stop but you’re centrally located so that is great.
