Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Parking was easy even though it was pretty full. The hot tub was very warm. The pool could've been a touch warmer but the kids still loved it and swam for over an hour. They had fun playing air hockey in the game room but their favorite was cooking the provided smores around the fire. Staff was very friendly. The hotel is a little older but well taken care of and clean for its age. "
"I only give this hotel a 3 star rating for these reasons: the floor is not carpeted in the rooms and we heard every footstep and every dropped item that hit the floor above us. That made it very difficult to sleep as it seemed the people were shoving furniture and suitcases around not to mention walking in hard heeled shoes. The breakfast is not continental which we knew. It is an attached restaurant that charges an exorbitant amount for the food. It was good...but very expensive. Our room was never serviced in the 5 days we were there. We had to ask for towels. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly. No problems there. The beds were very comfortable."
"You are across the street from the hot springs and a fantastic 10 km (6.2 miles) hiking trail. The hotel is beautiful. We loved the decor and the history. We had supper across the street at the restaurant, which was delicious, and breakfast at the buffet, which was only so-so — cold eggs, no bowls for yogurt, etc. But everything else was phenomenal. We loved it!"
"Awesome place to stay. The place has anything and everything you need. Do not hesitate to book, you will not be disappointed. Grocery store across the street was a bonus. "
"Off-street parking; good season price for stocked kitchenette, sofa & dining seating, private bedroom and bath, plus outdoor seating overlooking the river. Perfect for day trips into Yellowstone. If you’re over 6’ tall, the ceiling height & shower will be low. "
