I had everything I needed for a quiet solo trip. If I was someone who fished (or had been with someone who fished) this would have been a great home base, too.

Candlelight Cottages by the Beach
Candlelight is an excellent choice for a getaway. The only minor complaint I would have is that the ac is in very front of cabin and the bed room temperature was a bit uncomfortable. We stayed in the fall so it wasn’t a big problem. I don’t know how bearable it would have been in July or August. ...
