Great location - a short walk to shops and the beach. The motel is very cute and has a pool, a longe area, a bar, fire pits and and an outdoor volleyball court. It is a perfect place to relax or use as a home base to visit all the area has to offer.

The rooms were really clean. The staff were nice. The pool and hot tub was nice but felt it wasn’t clean. Especially the hot tub it didn’t look like it was cleaned for a while. The location was great walking distance to the beach area.

The rooms were clean and comfortable , fresh towels brought to the room. Great location 10 minute walk to the beach. The only minor issue was the fridge made a constant loud buzzing noise. Pool area was a nice place to lounge. Great for families.

Property was really cute, a number of things were broken so maintenance needs to step up to improve quality of stay. Bathroom could have been cleaner, hair from previous guests on the floor and in shower still. Linens were clean which was great!

The kiwi is fantastic, so cute and clean. That being said, the pool and hot tub area were pretty sad. The entire pool liner was lifting and the hot tub was dirty and cold. We weren’t there for the pool so this had no impact on us and we would definitely stay again

No staff on site. AT ALL. Bar never open. Had to call customer service to get room door unlocked and all other guest had the same issue. Room was extremely small. Advertisement is completely misleading. A room cost more than the Colonial down the road which is way better and has amazing staff on site with extra amenities. What a joke and a waste of money The Kiwi motel is.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kiwi with our little family. The one bedroom suite was cozy but perfectly supplied with all the amenities we needed, and located right next to the pool, which our kids loved. The staff were the most helpful that we’ve had even at larger resorts we’ve been to. They tidied the room daily, provided clean pool towels daily, and assisted quickly when we had problems with the fridge. The location was also great- still walkable to the main strip and beach but quiet enough for kids. We would highly recommend this cute and refreshed hotel for a grand bend visit.

Our stay was very good. The staff were very accommodating and pleasant . Location was awesome just off the main strip. Was so pleased they served snack food in an air-conditioned restaurant right on the premises. Pool was a nice additive. Found the room very clean and beds comfy . Would return again when in Grand Bend.
