"Had a lovely stay, cottage was really clean and comfortable with lovely view of the snow capped mountains.
Very friendly staff that clean every day.
Totally recommend visiting Lake Matheson and going to the Glacier lookout.
Also had a lovely walk from the carpark over the bridge.

"Friendly owner who offered great sightseeing and dining recommendations. Beautifully maintained, spacious rooms and motel grounds. Fantastic shower (both the size and water pressure), in room coffee machine and great location right next door to a lovely place to have dinner. Wouldn't change a thing."

"Wow. The view was just like the picture. Loved it. And so close to everything. Just 5km to Lake Matheson, to the glacier walk start, 1km from the township. Peaceful, affordable. The room was well appointed. Shower lovely. We can’t fault it. Stay here, don’t stay in Franz Joseph. "

"You get what you pay for and I couldn't complain as we were a late booking. We had everything we needed, comfortable bed, hot shower and private bathroom. Jesus (spanish manager) did all he could to accomodate us. If you want 5 star and want to pay 4 times the price stay elsewhere but this was very suitable for us, no complaints here 😊"
