"I stayed at XO Hotels Park West from March 18–25, 2026, and it was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had—especially considering the price
The air-conditioning in the room did not work for the entire duration of my stay. Every time I called reception, I was told the same thing: that adjustments were being made and the room would cool within 15–20 minutes. This never happened. I had to keep calling repeatedly, only to receive the same response over and over again.
By day 3, the room had become so uncomfortable that I had to request a pedestal fan just to be able to sleep. For a hotel at this price point, being reduced to using a basic fan instead of proper climate control is simply unacceptable. On top of that, I had to keep the window open due to the heat, which triggered my seasonal allergies and left me feeling unwell for the rest of my trip.
The most disappointing part came at checkout, when I was finally told that the air-conditioning system was not working at all and that technicians were only expected to fix it that day. This directly contradicts everything I had been told throughout my stay. Whether this was due to poor communication or something else, the end result is the same: I was given misleading information for several days while dealing with an unresolved issue.
The hotel gave a 10% refund, which does not come close to reflecting the level of discomfort, lost sleep, and overall negative impact on my stay."
