Positives: comfortable beds, spacious, kitchen and laundry available, cute decor, great breakfast, helpful staff. Staff recommendations to eat at Restaurant Krone was right on! We took advantage of the Thun area card at the Oberhofen castle, boating on Lake Thun, and visiting StBeatus Cave & waterfall, and Panoramabrücke in Sigriswil. Negative: for us, nothing! "Going in we knew it was a historic building but the room was dark and minimal compared to other similar facilities we have stayed at. No one was at the desk to check us in, we had to call on phone at desk to pay for parking before getting code to lock box for key to room. There was no mention of a code to get back in the building in the evening. Breakfast was the standard continental breakfast. Beautiful area with an old church and covered bridge."

"We spent 3 nights here and absolutely loved our balcony room with a view of the lake. Couldn't stop taking pics from it. Grounds are excellent and well maintained. Breakfast was good, but the same each day. Two things we'd suggest though, pillows were feathered and had no substance (had to ask for additional) and no lotion in the bathroom. These are minor things compared to how much we loved the setting. Would highly recommend."
