"All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. This is the third time we have stayed at the , " Duke of York". The rooms are always clean and well supplied and wonderfully quirky. The food is exquisite, good suppliers and a talented chef make any meal you order an absolute delight. The choice of beers and ciders definately hit the spot and are excellently kept. We will, without question, be looking to return for more stays regardless of the season because any time of year is great here."

"The hotel overlooks Summerleaze beach & has lovely views - our room looked over the beach too The room we were in was spacious and very clean and we had a very good nights sleep All the staff we encountered were welcoming and friendly and made our stay a very pleasant experience The slight downside was parking - there were only limited spaces outside the hotel but we were able to park in a nearby car park which was free overnight (less than a five minute walk from the hotel) We would...

Staff nice and helpfull.😊 Property Facilities would need improving, lovely grounds and views, but some places (including a few Lodges) are abandoned and would need some invesment to put back in service."
