"We arrived shortly after 5pm and I called the number at the reception. The guy came past me no word got the envelope from a Tresor and passed it to me no explanation where the room is nothing. Almost said sorry for disturbing him. The room is spacious but in a lousy condition (toilet was leaking/ fridge was partially damaged aso)
So if you stay for one night it’s maybe okay but don’t expect room service if you stay longer

There were a few insects in the room and bathroom
The tub itself did not appear to have been actually cleaned in several months, it was a soaker tub, but I didn't even want to step in so no way would I use it as a bathtub

"Had a lovely spacious apartment with balcony, a great view of the ranges and secure parking very close to my entrance. The buildings are beautiful and surrounded by large eucalyptus. The complex has secure fences with automatic gates, making it a very safe place to stay. Highly recommended."

"The place looked abandoned & not open. Absolutely zero communication from the host about checkin process. The property had no access, was surrounded by a high wall & had high grass surrounding it on all sides. I repeat - it looked abandoned & very sketchy. My husband decided not to even stay there because it did not look to be in a safe area. We went to the Hilton Doubletree instead, which is a lovely hotel in Alice. I cannot recommend anything at all about VATU Sanctuary. "
